Good to know about weaving - tying was quite time consuming, would you also know a method of preventing hornworm, I'll be planting in a different area this year as we were hit quite badly. I checked daily then one day we were struck 10 fold! I found out later that because we had a decidious tree nearby that this may have been the cause. Is there anything I can lay down, no chemicals, to prevent the attack? Jacqueline

We trellis our tomatoes using a post at every other plant and then weave the
twine on the front and back of the plants to hold them securely. It is
essential that the twine be quite tight with this method since there is less
post support.
We do limited pyo with tomatoes, but it has worked out well.
