Maybe someone already commented on this - but my impression is that consumers should also be taught to cook their grass-fed beef differently (less done, etc.) than high fat beef. Wondered if any of you have any comments - hand out cooking guidelines, etc.

Has anyone found grass-fed beef to be, well, kind of tough?

I bought a grass-fed steer last year and because it ate only grass, it
didn't have much marbling.

Wondering if you should feed solely on grass for most of its life, then
introduce a bit of grain 2 - 3 mos. before slaughter, phased in of
course.

Wouldn't that help the toughness?
