If it has a tail, its not an Araucana, but an Ameraucana.

If it doesn't have a tail, and therefore IS an Araucana, you have a
really really rare bird there.

Araucanas lay blue eggs, have no tails, and have tufted ears.

Ameraucanas lay "easter egg colored" eggs in pastel blues, greens, and
sometimes pinks. They have tails and lack the tufted ears.
