Do any of you trim your rooster spurs?? (Question came up during a
chat this morning.)
I wanted to ask this very question! I have a beautiful Aracauna (I know
this because he came out of a green egg) rooster. His spurs are so long,
it interferes with his walking and the hens avoid him like the plague. A
friend told me I could twist the spurs off with pliers, but I've been too
"chicken" to try that. Would pruning shears work? Would he bleed a lot?
