By what you said, Dreamhost runs pretty much like Iblio. Several servers, each with their own purpose. Of course you will be sharing it if you have a shared hosting plan, but you also can have your dedicated server with them.

I'll give you my personal experience with them. I have several websites with the same account (a shared hosting plan). Not all of them are in the same server machine and some subdomains are not in the same server as their root domain. On top of that, the mysql servers are used exclusively to host databases.

Regardles of how they might distribute user websites accross servers, the point is that Dreamhost has hundreds of users, and thousands of websites, on EACH server. The lyceum demo installation is the ONLY thing running on our lyceum demo server.

Anyway, John, I saw the ticket http://source.ibiblio.org/trac/lyceum/ticket/436 on the other day. I wanna know if is there anybody working on it yet. The reason I'm asking it is that I was working on a CSS file for the admin interface, and it is working alright in my instalation (although now I wanna change the colors I was using to match the new Lyceum logo). Let me know if you are interested in see any of that.

Yes we are VERY interestined! :) Attach your css file to that ticket.

John
