I like a bunch of sources better: Tatiana's tomatobase (great
selection of dwarf varieties, which almost no one else has), Sand Hill
Preservation (all kinds of OP vegetables -- sign up to get the paper
catalog, which comes out a month before the website gets updated), The
Sample Seed Shop (for small $1 packs of seeds, more useful for
backyard gardeners who like variety), and the newly revived
Gleckler's. All of these specialize in hard-to-find open-pollinated
seed and are run not as businesses with glossy catalogs and come-ons
but as seedstock-preservation services, and they all have day
jobs.
