Yes, I for one have. We butchered at least one cow and two pigs every year and that was most of the meat we had for the year. I also hunted Rabbits and Squirrels both for food and for sale. I cleaned the rabbits and squirrel and watched the butcher clean the cattle and pigs. I fished in the ponds and the Mississippi and pulled frogs out of the ponds, all of which I skinned and ate.
