Hi Dean
I don't think it will matter which country you go to if it is a so called developed country. With Peak Oil and everything that will go with it, we are all going to suffer.
Pete
Johnny, your thought processes match ours quite closely. I think there is going to be an internal collapse then takeover and am pretty sure I don't want to be around to witness it, at least very close. We are even considering expatriation; not that we are running from problems or looking for problems to be fixed, we simply feel we have done what we can do here and it is now time to look for another country from which to watch. - Paul:
- I think you are right we are heading for a break down, but where will it lead? If all goes completly wrong and worse case 3/4 of the USA population is lost, it may not be a small population left to learn and get it right this time. Usually a country that's weak is taken over by the powerful. So we lucky people left would not only have to struggle for survival, but maybe suffer from some other power that may or may not allow us to live. We live in interesting times.
