Most people forget that it is more economical to save money than to earn.  To get the same result for every dollar saved  in earnings value,  you have to add on your rate of income tax and the cost of going out to earn it.  e.g. if your income tax rate is 10% then you have to earn$1.10 + for every dollar saved.

Value unpaid labor: What could you constructively, and most profitably, do to directly generate income or save expenses in the time which you are doing ______ task?  Eventually, whatever you do or are doing will generate income or cost money over a period of time.  It is diffcult to say how much money you made this morning, but at harvest or end of the month checkbook balance, you'll have an idea.  If you don't make or save money, it's just a hobby, and sometimes an expensive one at that.

How does anyone figure the worth of their own labor, when they don't get paid for it?
