Intangibles:

* Integrity is something I feel when I garden because I'm holding to my values.

* We regularly use our garden as a teaching tool for homeschooling (we have a decent microscope for instance) and we're teaching our children the worth of integrity and good work. Its also a time for family togetherness. We make garden work a fun time together rather than painfully hard.

* Peace and serenity comes to me when I'm working in the garden. I get a great feeling of accomplishment as well as happiness.

* Health comes from working in the garden as well as from eating what we produce.

* I am challenged, very challenged sometimes <lol>, by gardening. Trying to figure out where I'm going wrong is like doing a puzzle and keeps my brain going.

I'm sure there are more but I'm hurrying to turn off the computer before a big thunderstorm heard in the distance arrives. So I can't think of what my time in the garden is worth. I think my garden is priceless! Friendships I've gained through gardening are equally priceless.
