I’m a little snobbish about my wines and prefer those exquisite vineyards that produce the finest of the fines with that delicate finish of gasoline (Boone’s Farm, Thunderbird, Wild Irish Rose).  No aging required.  Doubles as spare fuel tank for vehicle, and always guaranteed to throw a flame J

The reds probably improved because of it.  Most wines can stand a good aging and a little bit of heat won't hurt, but it doesn't help.  I suppose it depends on what temprature the store was kept at or how hot it got.  White wines like to age as well.

I heard someone remark that they thought the wines had
been sitting in the store since Fowlers had closed and they
didn't know what kind of condition they were in. :-(
Hope that's not the case.
