Heh - sorry for the delay in replying to this, as I think I was one of the "complainers".

I suggested that a long, long thread on the outer loop becoming a toll road be moved here, not because I saw it as a "dumping ground" but that I've always viewed this list as where geeks can talk about non-geek things if they want. Being a geek imbues one with a certain world view that isn't often reflected in the general population, and that's why I read Internetworkers. I read TriLUG for Linux/open sourcy things.
