One of the new major scams on e-bay is using a fake payment or escrow
service. You think your protected when in actuality you simply gave the
scammer what he wanted anyway.

I would be very wary. See if they will agree to use Paypal or iescrow. And
don't back down on it. If they won't, then something is up. Both are very
easy to use.
