I cannot say enough good things about Speakeasy. I know everyone is going
to say they are resold Covad, but for some reason I haven't had the
problems with them that I had when I was working at NewSouth. I have a
Bridged 384/384 SDSL connection. I use my own router (Netopia 7200). And
it is true 384/384, very comparable to a fractional T. I run all my own
servers off of it, as well as a few for friends, and have had no real
problems at all. The only outages have been after Sep 11th when the
connection was routed through NY, after the generator ran for 48 hours
straight it gave up, it was back within 24 hours, definately not their
fault. The ice storm didn't seem to affect it at all, or so it seemed, my
power came up I rebooted the router and Walla, ther it was. I also have 6
static IP's. I highly suggest Speakeasy if it is available in your area. I
have had great success with their technical support staff when I needed
help. They have nationwide dial up if your on the road.
