Familiar with the Real National ID Act?  It outlines in part what kind of
documentation MUST be provided to PROVE citizenship, and proof of home
address etc, in order to obtain a driver's license or an ID.  A certified
birth certificate is one of the items required, and according to the Judge
who teaches Constitutional <whatever> in my area, this will be repeated every
8 years (certified copies, etc).  This is part of a federalization plan, i.e.
control.  Passports & ID with chips in them according to the Judge.

As of 2008, to board an airplane, or enter federal building (like a post
office, court house, gov't bldg) the new ID is required.  There are 18 states
allegedly that have not yet complied, so there are some time delays on
implementation.......

BUT, in the light of this thread,,,, wonder if the Prez will have to obtain a
national ID AND produce once and for all his birth certificate !!! LOL.

Probably would not matter, he released the info on his church membership,
the pastor, Rev Wright remembered him as did a couple administrators but not
a  single church member ever said they sat next to him in 20 years of
attendance.  If I ever ran for office there are 3 or 4 hundred people who
would
step up to  confirm my story. Why hire 4 separate law firms to  threaten your
alma  maters if they release records and 4 separate firms to fight the
birth  certificate requests???

Or to  hide which classes one was in so private investigators can't track
down every  classmate and conduct background interviews.  Questions like do
you  remember him, did he show up in class, did he use drugs, who did he hang
out  with, what kind of views were expressed in class (philosophical,
political,  social, etc).  Sealing the records helps keep the closet door to
the
skeleton closet  shut.

DH bought a lot of what they were selling.  I told him the  only reason a
*supposedly* highly intelligent person would seal their  college records
was
because they weren't a highly intelligent  person.

Now DH's is talking about "why did he seal his college  records." <g>

Lisa--If they aren't sprouting (some of mine were) you could refrigerate
them until fall and plant. My lilies and iris were sprouting so I will
put them in the ground now in pots in the shade and then transplant them
into the sun in the fall. This is my plan, but it's a lot hotter here I
would imagine. --Sage
