The world is a very different place with water!

Yes, different and usually much better world.

The terrain, the rocks, the atmosphere is very much like Hurricane Creek when it is up a bit.

The view is downstream. To the right is a 15' bluff and at the top of that
is back pasture. To the left is the Cherokee National Forest.

"You call that a bluff? That's not a bluff. This 'ere's a bluff." Alas, I don't have a photo to make the vertical point.

In which compass direction is the down tilt of that strata?

And here is a where a small basin is empounded on Bee Suck Creek to provide water for the garden. The pipe goes up hte 20' bluff to the shoulder where the main vegetable garden is located. In the center of the garden is a pitcher pump. You can't see it from this angle but the pipe under water is held verticle by large stones and has a foot valve.

Far more valuable than any gold.
