Bev,
Being an A blood type I am very familiar with all the ins and outs of that
type. So I decided to go through a bit of the O type "stuff". Guess what
???? Most folks who have RA are also blood type O.
One of the biggest food offenders for folks that are O is Wheat. As I
mentioned before my daughter is an O and avoids as much wheat as possible as
it causes her a lot of pain. She has never been diagnosed with RA but has
little pain if she avoids wheat.
So here is another book to add to your list and with the things I am reading
about RA and blood type it might be the one to get first!
"Eat Right for Your Type Complete Blood Type Encyclopedia", by Dr. Peter J.
D'Adamo with Catherine Whitney. Being a chemist I think you would find the
information very interesting! Many people think this is the best way to eat
and others think it is all BS! It is my idea that anything is worth a try
when one is in such terrible pain. The synchronicities I am seeing for your
blood type , IMNSHO, makes it well worth the read!
Just for your info here are a few of the highly beneficial foods and a few
of the avoids for O types.
Highly Beneficial Avoid
Beef, Venison Milk & Cheese
Black Eyed Peas Lentils of all kinds
Adzuki Beans All corn
Beet Greens Leeks
Flaxseed All wheat
Pumpkin seeds, butters Mushrooms
Broccoli Potato
Ginger Black & white
pepper
Horseradish Mustard
Collard Greens Coffee
Dandelion
Black Walnut, English Walnut
Okra
Onions
Parsnips
Peppers
Sweet Potatoes
Pumpkin
Spinach
Swiss Chard
Turnips
Bananas
Blueberries
All Cherries
Figs
Olive Oil
Parsley
Turmeric

Green Tea
Many things are neutral which means they are good food to your diet also.
This is only a partial list.
I forgot to mention fish.....all type of bass are great, salmon is neutral

The true significance of Sacajawea's involvement in the Lewis & Clark
expedition is that it was the first documented trip in history where men
asked a woman for directions and followed them, allowing them to arrive
at their destination.
