I always get doubles from you too... but I'm wondering now if it is only
somehow related to a reply, since you don't always have doubles.  Clearly you
aren't with yahoo.

I'm replying to this one email of two; this one came in from homestead
lists...............  the other came in from your email.  Let me know if you
receive one or two replies.

I suspect Ford is plagued by the same problems as the other three, although
maybe they can delay for a while.

Wall Street has been cannabilizing itself for about a year, maybe this is
just a similar move on Car Street... Ford maneuvering itself to cannabilize
the others, although how all that works out is beyond me, a handout from the
Fed to buy up the other 2 ????

Two, not three. Latest is that Ford will be okay unless the economy
really tanks... They are doing what they should be doing, tightening the
belt and selling assets for cash.
The Chevy dealership in town is rumored to be closing the first of the
year. The Dodge dealership has been gone for a while now..then, only
Ford will remain, and on shaky ground at that. If that holds true for
the larger scale of things(I suppose I should know better than to
upscale local events), Chrysler, GM, Ford..in that order.

Interestingly, Leslie's email also pops up in my To: box, the same way
Bob's doesn..

The true significance of Sacajawea's involvement in the Lewis & Clark
expedition is that it was the first documented trip in history where men
asked a woman for directions and followed them, allowing them to arrive
at their destination.

It's all BS. All three companies make good trucks. Ford makes one good car
of which I am aware (Fusion). Let them (all 3) go Chap 11, refit to build
trucks and maybe one 2 or 3 total cars that could compete with the quality of
the forreign cars. And, if workers want a Union , they need to dump UAW ,
and start one without the financial and political corruption. Some enitites
are just beyond help..................................
