Now, one of the interesting parts of the whole swat raid in Ohio is that the father or brother is currently serving in Iraq. Ya know, fighting for FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY and while he's putting his life on the line for his country, his country has his family is face down on the floor with guns pointed at them.
Anyone else see the hypocricy of all this?
As to homeschooling, well, most states are trying to put more and more restrictions on it.

We've accepted paramilitary tactics, confiscation of property, and
other violations of civil liberties in the war against drugs for
years. I don't think it's surprising that civil liberties violations
are spreading to other parts of our lives that ought to be nobody's
damn business but our own.
I'll say this for Illinois, homeschooling is well accepted and pretty normal.
