I see what you are saying, Don. But, I see no way, without a complete
societal upheaval, that the gov't can "kill" SS. Most of the people on or
near retirement have paid into SS for years and have planned their retirement
around the idea that SS will pay for some, at least; and , in some cases, a a
large part of their expenses. ....bobford
