Ha! There's one born every minute. Although I cannot help but imagine you
already know this. There is no such thing as "dealer cost". The dealer
never
buys the car nor pays for it, he is only acting as agent. There are
dealerships here who in a frenzy of showmanship sell you the car for two
hundred
dollars UNDER dealer cost. And they do it with documentation and a straight
face.
During the zenith of the gas prices this summer there were local dealers
selling $30,000 trucks for $12,000 off. As you can imagine, they did NOT pay
for
those trucks, there was no dealer cost.
