Agreed, things in glass containers just taste better. Besides, I like being able to see the food in mason jars, I can readily identify it, and can instantly see if something's gone bad or been invaded.
We buy organic grains and sometimes end up with pantry moths or weevils in them while contained in mason jars. I've been told they come in all unfumigated grain and the only way to prevent this is to freeze it. Is this so?
