I think when I was a kid we had "unbreakable" dishes made of melamine. They were sort of off white and heavy like something in between today's plastics and china. I succeeded in breaking every one of them over time, demonstrating to my friends how they were unbreakable. I hope we weren't eating off the same stuff...
