I'm glad I'm not alone.
My significant other always smiles bemusedly when I take off my glasses so I
can read something in print (but I use them to see the computer monitor).
He gets a particular kick out of watching me sew - or embroider - sans
glasses, with the project right up under my nose...and it's got to be in
sunlight
- somehow artificial lighting doesn't get it.

I like them, too. Glad to see us going back to a slightly larger frame
as that allows my reading focal pane more room. I have progressive
bifocals and the lower pane is miniscule to the point that I almost
don't use it, prefering just to take my glasses off and get closer.
