I think there are extremists on both ends of the spectrum. For example, there are "pro-life" people who have killed abortionists. They don't see the hypocrasy in their actions. And actually, yes, I don't think most "Christians", even on the extremist side, are as "zealous", as you put it.

My point was simply that there are differences between the two, and that they do not use the same tactics.

Ray do you really think this is because Christians are any less zealous or just
due to circumstances?
I think extremists become blinded to anything but their point of view to the
point they almost forget what the point of view is and become willing to do
anything to stop anyone who doesn't agree.
This applies to extreme about religion, politics, sports, lifestyles and
..sheesh.. maybe even to extreme opposition to extremism.

Rob, only one thing to say. While fundamentalism in any
form can be
scary, I have not recently seen Christian fundamentalists
beheading
people on the internet. There IS a difference.

<snip>

I'm sure there's a bunch out there that see all
this as good. It's the
same ones that think Obama is a Muslim trying to take over
the
country. Muslim fundamentalist, Christian fundamentalist,
same
tactics. Scary.

Her personal life all over the news has me sick. No ones
damned
business.

I'm back to my goat cheese to close out the night.
Perfecting soft
goat cheese lately.
