Our daffs and crocuses are coming up now.

I love asparagus fries. With parmesan panko and garlic aoli. With cornmeal and sweet tangy hickory sauce. Rice flour tempora and ginger sauce.

I have this theory that eating fried veggies is a karmic wash. The veggies negate the evilness of the frying. You can eat as much as you want. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. : )

Now I'm hungry and can't wait for the asparagus to come up.

Woke up to snow on the ground here this morning. It was just a dusting,
but snow nonetheless. It's supposed to be about 25 tonight and all the
fruit trees are about to bloom. They are at the stage that if you look
close, you can see the pink of the flower bud. We already done crocuses
and daffodils a few weeks ago.

Like when we grew the most beautiful red
peppers until Thanksgiving in Charleston, SC. Can't imagine gardening in a
climate such as TX or coastal SC right now, meanwhile we're getting light
flurries but the leaves of the daffodils are above ground and the first
crocus opened two days ago.
