They were smaller pools, one was 4' deep and 16' in diameter, and the other was 3' wide and 15 feet in diameter. One was also in a city over an hour away... With smaller pools, I would need several of them to roof the greenhouse.
The problem, as I see it, it getting the stuff rolled up enough to get it into the back of my truck to get it home. I'm really not up to taking down someone's neglected pool, either...rusty bolts, etc...I should probably take a sawzall and an extention cord.
I'm going to give it a few days and see what develops.

I've been asking on freecycle for roofing metal for months, it seems...no offers. Today, I posted a wanted for pool siding and 6 hours later I had 2 responses.
Metal roofing is so trendy here that people use it for everything from doghouses to wellhouses...Scraps are hard to find.
