The island of Saipan has the distinction of being the highest per capita consumption of bud in the world. They also consume various Miller variants. The trouble is that you cannot get any other brand there other than at a few shops that sell Japanese beer at wildly inflated prices. There is one other brand commonly available and it does rank well below bud. A couple of years ago they raised the taxes on beer and cigarettes. The net result is the importation of some truly awful stuff.
