But the original post talked about convincing rural voters that the Democrats are no longer devoted sophists for corporations.
You use the word sophist different than I; I don't understand your point. Are you suggesting that Democrats are the close friends of big corporations? I presume you are aware of the historic tension between owners and workers; it is the workers with whom the Democrats are commonly allied. And are you referring to specific corporations or corporations in general? I think it is widely understood that big business and Republicans are bedfellows.
My feeling is that it won't get anywhere to _talk_ about anything, once actions have revealed their true nature.
Talk is what Americans listen to. The American voter has a short memory.
