(snip) I learned a long time ago not to listen to the man in the pulpit.
Rarely do his words convey what is written.
> I believe in a God. I do not believe in modern organized religion.

I *wish* (hope ?) there were Powers -
but considering the results of others'
prayers, I do not pray "for" anything,
good or bad. Once I figured that out,
I've been making the effort to be
grateful and appreciative of the 'good'
and ignoring the rest (until buttons
are slammed down and then the
readers on this list 'get it in the neck',
poor things).

> Toni, I don't remember, but.... do you have children?

I miscarried with the twins of my first
effort - then produced one fairly healthy
and 'good' son (as compared to what, you
ask ? His sire).

I'm still waiting for mine to go through
the Terrible Two-s stage - ideal child -
proud of him, take absolutely *no*
credit for/from him - - -

- - - because in the last few years,
the above is exactly what he has done -
- to me ! Love that kid !!

The move took several liberties but it was good non the less. I have
another CD with selections from some of his operas plus several full
operas. Great music.

I have since added small wires to keep a cd case in place. There is one on
each side for the current CD and the next.:
