I did answer your question, Ray.

And, further, I'll add, While 3000+ civilians were killed on 9/11, it's
pretty clear that Saddam Hussein wasn't the mastermind of that attack. In
fact, sanctions -- while they were killing thousands of innocent children in
Iraq -- had pretty much locked Saddam down. He couldn't do much of anything.

Now, non-Iraqi terrorists are gaining ground every day in Iraq, and Iraqis
of all stripes -- women, children, non-Ba'athists who suffered under Saddam,
and even Ba'athists are dying pretty much indiscriminately, far more Iraqis
(not to mention Afghanis) than the number of Americans who died on 9/11. For
lack of oversight, the US military has disgraced itself in the eyes of the
world (and the world of Islam has some evidence that we really are
degenerate).

I agree with you, Ray, that it doesn't matter who is president. I disagree
about the current state of affairs. They are so seriously FUBAR that they
may not be rightable (or should I say, correctable). This president has done
us wrong.

Marie
