Martin,

Forget that: it's not a mistake.

You and some others are having a problem on Solaris linking tsql and
other executables in ./apps. We could fix this in one of two ways.

1. We could fix the linking instructions in apps/Makefile.am, by
linking in ../tds/libtds_objects.la explicitly.

2. We could fix the linking instructions for libtds.

Which is the real problem? Does nm(1) say the symbols are missing from
libtds? Or is the linker failing to find them for some reason?

I'm guessing #2, but I'd like to know what nm(1) says.

Also, what linker/version are we talking about?
