I've done everything I know how to do to coerce autogen.sh. Nothing I do
generates anything in the odbc directory. I have to conclude I shouldn't be
doing this. Preparing the release, I mean.

What I can do: I can grab last night's snapshot, which coincidently ran
"make dist" on the R0_60 sources, add the README.0.60, rename things
according to Brian, and call that rc4.

Brian, do you want me to do that, or would you like to do this yourself?

I don't think we should use rc3, because it wasn't made with "make dist".
Among other things, it means you'd have have gawk installed to generate man
pages.
