Does anyone know who takes primary ownership for the 'dblib' code
(probably Brian, but I figured it is quickly to ask the whole list).

I ask, because I would like to begin some work that would drastically
overhaul the TDS layer of freeTDS in order to better support all of
the features of CT-Lib (in particular, cursors, more properties, etc.)
Unfortunately, in order to do this implementation it will require
some serious re-working of the dblib libraries. Actually, it'll require
a major overhaul of ct-lib as well, but I am willing to take that
task on.

I have already re-worked most of the guts of the tds library to support
cancels (it was a _lot_ more difficult than I ever expected)...I
haven't checked my changes in yet..hopefully soon. I am making the
necessary changes to db-lib and ct-lib to support the new changes,
but considering that I really only need ct-lib to work for my
selfish purposes, I can't afford to continue this effort indefinitely.

If I had my druthers, what I would really like to see is for
the db-lib layer to be implemented on top of the ct-lib layer.
This would actually by pretty nice because you could use it
on top of Sybase's ct-lib as well.

Thanks!
