Think of it the other way. If you were writing a book that
you intend to pass off as another's, make it look as if
others also had a hand in the writing to give a plausible
context for the difference in style.
The problem with defining style is not so much detecting
differences between the writers, but in quantifying whether
they are due to chance or not.
