xiane,

this is a frequent problem when there has been a
short, especially in the cig lighter when plugging
in/unplugging a cell phone charger, but even a chaffed
wire or moisture can cause it. it can also manifest as
the clock/radio/horn/interior lights
resetting/blowing/dimming when opening the
door/depressing horn/flipping on turn signal, etc..
what has happened is an *inline* fuse in the wiring
has blown. the inline fuses are famous for creating
weird ground loops when blown. you can't just replace
it at the fuse block. the wire with the inline fuse
has to be located. don't take it to a car stereo
joint. you need to take it to a honda dealer or
specialist. they are the only ones equipped to track
down the offending wire and access it, and even then,
the repair person will need to be pretty smart. not
all dealers are sharp in the electrical department.
you may need to go to more than one dealer to find the
right repair person. could be expensive if the wire is
running through the car body. these are nasty
problems. sorry it happened to you.

ps - charlene had her baby last week
