Of course they have a book you can buy, but this page offers solid, basic
advice. Since you have a police report that attributes fault to the guy who
hit you, then you shouldn't need an attorney unless the insurance company is
unresponsive. Your insurance company would not be involved unless the guy
who hit you was uninsured or you were attributed shared fault. Be sure to
document everything, pictures, etc.
