Fran said to me off the record that he'd previously heard Lawrence
Lessig speak, and that he came across as having an agenda to destroy
all copyright. I told him that perhaps that was a misunderstanding...
and that he must more closely analysize these issues before spouting
off words like "non-sense"; one on one he seemed quite willing to
listen... I often find that the more useful dialogues after these
sorts of things happen, well, after these sorts of things. I look
forward to more discussions on the subject with UK industry folks.
