the music industry does have to invent new business models and many have been established over recent years. That said, the words ‘new business models’ must mean just that – ways of developing business and creating employment opportunities for individuals and wealth for the country as a whole. An anarchic ‘free for all’ would have a disastrous impact on the livelihoods of creators and inventors and fatal consequences for the economic fabric of a modern society.
