Interesting feedback, Heather! As my team and I have worked to recruit
faculty for USU's OpenCourseWare (http://ocw.usu.edu/), there has been
very little concern about derivative works, and all the conversation
has been around commercial use. I don't know if the context changes
the concerns, but we've worked with about 30 faculty to get them to
sign agreements formally allowing us to make entire courses' worth of
material available under the By-NC-SA, and commercial use has always
been the primary issue here.
