Wondering what the best command is to high-level DOS-format 1.44 MB
floppy disks using BasicLinux 3.50?
Toms root and boot floppy uses the standard 'mkdosfs' command

Have already visited
- The BL3 mainsite and links,
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/baslinux/
- Sindi Keesan's site, http://keesan.freeshell.org/bl/blfiles.htm
- Slackware 4.0's disksets, e.g.,
<mirror>/pub/slackware/slackware-4.0/slakware/a1
- Slackware sourcecode sites, e.g.,
<mirror>/pub/slackware/slackware-4.0/source/a/bin/

Seems that 'mkdosfs /dev/fd0u1440' somehow cannot be found using BL3,
although there IS a mkdosfs-0.4.tar.gz that can maybe be compiled for
use here?
Copying a downloaded mkdosfs-0.4.tar.gz to mkdosfs-0.4.tgz and then
running the 'pkg' tool on the latter is INeffective.
No 'mkfs' command found; only 'mke2fs' with the middle "e2" here for
making an ext2 fs.

Thanks for assistance here.
