No, glibc2 is made up of several different libraries.

ldlinux, libc, and others? It is probably a lot easier to install than extract and symlink manually.

But I probably don't need the documentation. I can look in /var/log/packages in BL2 to see what those are and remove them.

I forget how you said to look at a .tgz file with d (links-0.90) - can I do that on CD?

Is there an 'installpkg' for SW40 that you omitted to save space?

I just did ldd on the lynx 2.8.5 that I compiled statically and it has no dependencies. Why would it not have worked in BL1 except offline? Is this perhaps kernel-related? I will try in unmodified BL3.
