The bare.i kernel is probably the one you want.

Wireless networking? No. The 486 and P1 kernels
for BL3 have the same capabilities as the default
BL3 kernel. The only difference is that the 486
kernel was optimized for 486 systems (i.e. it will
get the best performance out of a 486 system).
Ditto the P1 kernel.
