OKAY! I finally got it to work. First thing
was:
1. I changed my "localhost" IP address under /etc/hosts.
That screwed things up, and when I changed it back, it started makeing
less errors.
2. I also screwed up some X startup files. Who know's what
I did, but I screwed them up, so I copied the defaults to a
floppy when I booted from floppy (I'm installed to hd) and then
recopied them. Less errors once more.
3. Finally, I realized that xinit had been deleted.
(I dunno how) so I recopied that...and it worked! So now I have icewm
running beautifully.
One question though, in icewm,. is there a way to
load a certain theme everytime you start it? I have to do it manually right
now.
Thanks!
