I guess there may be, but it is of interest to me because I move stuff
continuously between Linux and DOS partitions, so I use F-Prot for both
on a regular basis.

The scan engine is the same, so the speed will be only dependent on
your machine speed. And yes, they do use the same virus signature files,
which I update manually, on both systems, at least weekly.

The command line switches are the same for both OS, but I have also
written scripts to scan, for instance, my email.
