Have you tried adding to boot.bat after 'loadlin zimage' mem=256M?
We have a laptop Compaq with 24MB that was recognized in DOS, but BL1
could recognize only 16MB of that until we added mem=24M. I know this is
not the same exact problem but it might help anyway.
