The problem here is not spam. I have not gotten any spam at the address I
use for this list, only Netsky, which was sent to baslinux, not me
personally, and my 'ISP' does not filter for viruses (it is actually a
webhosting machine of a friend of a friend). Someone on the list (with a
disposable email address at clicvu) has baslinux address in their
computer, not necessarily in their address book, and Netsky is sending to
baslinux once in a while. It also has Steven's address, among others, and
fakes the 'from' address randomly from the addresses in its computer,
including Steven's address.

If it were not for the disposable email address meant to foil spam, we
could figure out who harbored the worm and notify them. Two rights don't
fix a wrong.

They are recognizable to everyone actually receiving the mail so what you
did above worked to prevent spam. (You did a good job deciding who should
actually join the list, assuming you were selective).

Does mail sent to baslinux AT lists.ibiblio.com get filtered at all for
viruses? If not, can it be filtered?
