We tested out the new make_fd.zip

1. It does not work when you put in a 720K floppy disk - did you specify
for #1 a 100% good 1.44M floppy disk? Once you have tried to use a 720K
with a disk image twice the size, there may be no way to repair the disk.
Is there some way for the program to check disk size?

2. It does not work when there are files on disk #2. Jim suggests adding
something to check for this and then ask whether to delete the files and
proceed, or put in a different disk. He can write this up.

3. It still gives 'Divide overflow'.

This has something to do with vdisk from PCDOS 3.3, which does not work
predictably with newer computers, and not with fdimage (he tried various
other replacements for fdimage which also did not help). Vdisk from DRDOS
works but then you would need some way to determine which drive to use for
the virtual drive, since this vdisk recognizes them all. Therefore he
used xmsdsk (?) and this needed himem.sys and with these from DRDOS he put
together something similar that works and we will post this somewhere when
he gets back from class tonight. Maybe with a couple of lines added to
check whether there are files on the second disk and a way to specify that
you need 100% good (formatted) 1.44M first disk.
