You mean I could just have downloaded it from the Bl1 site, or did I miss
it at the Bl2 site? At least I learned how to compile with nasm.
I am still trying to compile lynx-ssl. It accepted openssl library
location now but is not happy with ncurses, which I suspect I will need to
compile for myself.)

Why did you use nano instead of e3 in BL2?
Does the posted e3 include tail?

Would you rename it so people will know it is not the recent version?
It won't handle the latest formats of WORD. Maybe you could post them
both in the same place? So far 35 has worked for me on simple files.

Great, thanks! We are working on getting the xternal CD-ROM drive going
so we can install directly to the laptop computer. It will be fun using
the SW.2 CD.

It sounds very promising. Thanks for doing all this work and sharing it.
And answering all our dumb questions, usually politely. (Sometimes I can
tell you are a bit exasperated when I ask questions that are already
answered at the website).
