No it doesn't. Xvesa works with earlier VESA cards.

One reason is to make it smaller (although the Deli
version doesn't seem particularly small). Another
reason is ignorance. Xvesa is not well documented.
There is no automatic make -- you have to know what
you are doing to get it to compile.

You might also want to try a copy of Xvesa compiled
by somebody else. There's a one-floppy Linux that
runs Xvesa to play Skat (it allows you to select
various resolutions/colors). You should find it by
googling for "Xvesa Skat"
